wait, how did i get here?
If I’d known that copywriting could take me to the X Games, into open-heart surgery, up the face of a cliff or onto rollercoasters at LEGOLAND, I would’ve gotten into it a lot sooner.
Instead, I went to grad school (this was a mistake), spent a few years tromping Kentucky backroads taking pictures of old houses, then wandered sideways into writing. That expensive early blunder aside, I think it’s worked out pretty well.
